Hello everyone.
I'm not an acrobat at the turntables and almost only use the automix in dual-deck mode. (Simple transition without a lot of bells and whistles, enough for my needs)
But now I have the following problem: If the automix is on, I can create a smooth transition to the next song with an assigned button (automix_skip).
If the automix is off, I can create a transition with one more button. (mix_now 4000ms)
Now the song playing is simply ticked off, there is no smooth transition to the next song.
And now the phenomenon/problem: If I only mapped ONE button, i.e. either mix_now, OR automix_skip, there is a smooth transition!
Does anyone know the problem and can give me a tip?
(Tested with American Audio VMS5 and Denon DN MC6000MK2)

not sure what you are wanting.
Do you want a single button that, will make a smooth transition if automix is ON or OFF ?
(seems you know what to do that in both cases for a smooth transition)
To create the button you wish .. just need to query if automix is ON, the logic of:
automix ? actionA : actionB
Note: If automix is in dual-deck mode .. you will need to query both decks if automix is ON :
deck 1 automix ? actionA : deck 2 automix ? actionA : actionB
