Is this the new place for the database.xml to be, or has something weird happened on my computer so it was moved from D:\Onedrive\Documents\VirtualDJ\ ?

I assume it is just for me then, since I get no replies. I will now start to reinstall stuff and try to find out what is wrong, sigh...

It's something that OneDrive does by default when you install it, moving /Documents folder to OneDrive/Documents. Not in D Drive though, unless you specifically set that Drive to be your OneDrive path

Thank you for replying, but no, you misunderstood me. I have used onedrive with VDJ for many years. And always had my Onedrive directory on its own drive. Never had any problems with that setup. Except now when I suddenly have 2 directories with VirtualDJ for some reason. And VDJ use the one on my C drive. And I still have no idea why.

The fact is still that one drive is this destructive when you seti it up

Really, so it started to be destructive this way a few days ago after this many years??
By your answers I conclude that your VDJ directory are still in your "My Documents" and not in the root of the C:\ drive? Regardless of using Onedrive and if you do, regardless of using another path then default for Onedrive?

Not sure what OneDrive is doing, was a very long time ago for me - dont use it anymore - but if you want to see which path VirtualDJ is actually using for its database and other folders and files, open VirtualDJ, go to Settings->OPTIONS tab and click on the small cog icon at the bottom-right .... https://www.virtualdj.com/img/370573/29893/Options.png
Note also that new installations of VirtualDJ are using the \user\AppData path and not the \Documents

Thank you! Never seen that cog before! At least now I know what database file it uses! Splendid :-D
Btw, all my settings are gone, I found a file called settings.xml. I assume the settings are saved in that file, but it doesn't get restored from backup. Can I get it included in backup? It wasn't in trash can, neither online on onedrive or locally...damn...
