I use a Numark MixStream Pro for backup and training purposes. To avoid being forced to rethink my workflow in case of a computer crash, I decided to remap the original VDJ mapping to be most compatible to engineDJ (Standalone Mode).
When switching between the different pad modes I always end up in activating Split Pages, which I actually can't use as the Numark MixStream Pro only has 4 physical pads. Any search for a command or option to de-/activiate Split Pages do not lead to solution. It looks like, that Split Pages can only be deactivated via the GUI BUT if you do so the next click on a pad mode button reactivates Split Pages again. A workaround, which I implemented, is to set a variable while a pad mode button is pressed BUT this works only until the "pad mode switching speed" don't reaches a specific threshold. I guess this threshold depends on the protocoll transfer rate or the internal processor speed. To definitely avoid activating Split Pages, I would like to be able to de-/activate Split Pages per VDJ script.
As this is my first (re-)mapping, I may have missed something. If there is already a command or option to de-/activate Split Pages, please let me know.
