Sujet: app crash
The Virtual DJ app shuts down automatically after 6 hours of continuous use.
I have the original license and the latest version of the app.
I work with macbook pro m3 pro - OS sequoia 15.3.2.

Last night, I had a six-hour wedding reception with my M1 MBP and Sequoia 15.3.2, VirtualDJ v2025-m b8528, which ran flawlessly. I had Stems available, but I don't typically use them at gigs. I regularly use the latest version of CleanMyMac, which helps keep everything running smoothly, and I've been using it for over five years. I would recommend giving it a try if I were you.

@ OP maybe you could start with what you were doing at the 6 hr mark to see a crash?

Were you by chance connected to the internet at the time (devs might have gotten a crash report)?

could be heat related after 6 hours maybe vents were blocked or something of that sort

i mean with such little info who knows for sure

I normally use the app for more than 8 hours continuously, without closing the app at any time.
I have no problems with temperature or audio tracks. they are the same tracks I always use.
I think it is due to a new software update. for this reason I would like to know other experiences.

I use the clean my mac app, it is a very good app.
after six hours i was playing music, nothing unusual. working as usual. in the middle of the mix, the app closed and opened again by itself. obviously the audio was also cut.

i've had the macbook pro m3pro for less than a year, it started crashing about a couple of weeks ago. it's not a heating problem. the macbook is an incredible machine.
this is exclusively a problem of the app. it must have some kind of bug.

i am using a pioneer sz
