i have all of a sudden got this message when trying to record video mixes not allowed to record tracks with DRM is this a new thing can i turn it off please help

If the tracks are from a streaming service it's always been like that.

Yeah DRM has been around for many decades to protect copyright.
From computer floppy discs, through video tapes, DVDs, CDs (both music and data) to today with streaming services. If you're renting it (paying a monthly fee) then it doesn't belong to you.
Strictly speaking, even if you buy the product (music, video, software) it's still not yours to do whatever you like with. You only bought the right to use it, not the right to record, copy, distribute, alter etc. etc.
