I have had this strange issue that has only just randomly started happening. Virtual DJ doesn't detect my prime 4+ when in computer mode, and instead it crashes the software. After restarting my laptop, and leaving the prime 4 in computer mode, it detects and works fine.
I have checked to see if my computer recently updated the file that was causing issues with rane controllers, and it hasn't.
I have also used a new usb cable to see if that was the issue, it wasn't.
I updated the firmware on my prime 4 to see if that fixes it, it didn't.
Any ideas? This has only just started happening at my last gig. And it seems to happen every time I turn on my laptop now.

On further investigation, it does look like it has installed one of the affected security updates however it isn't giving me a way to uninstall it. Is there a work around? Do I need to reinstall windows?

Download VDJ build 9245 then go to controller tab of settings, missing controllers then tick disableMidi2 option.
Restart then that should make it all better.
