I have cued lots of files and need to have them on another PC, I have created a DB back up using the wizard not drag and drop, then I have restored it on the new machine but no cue points are there? The folder locations are always going to be different on a new machine and that's what Google was saying, surely that's not the case as its supposed to be a professional software. Due to the poor recognition my 1st beat is often counted as 5 and I dont have time at 175 BPM to be doing this on the fly.
Any help would be appreciated.

Please read this Wiki page:
https://virtualdj.com/wiki/How-to-Transfer-To-A-New-Computer.html
The database is a separate entity from the tracks in it. All the database does is associate VirtualDJ specific metadata with track at a specific location, and a database backup does not include songs in it (for large collections this would be impractical).
If your tracks are stored on an external drive, them nothing needs to be done (that external drive is "plugged into" the filesystem at some location, and VirtualDJ interprets track locations relatove to the root of the external drive.
If your tracks are stored on the machine itself, then you have to put them in the same location on the new machine, or you'll have to change the database entries to match where the new locations are (once it is a new root folder location, you could probably write a script to modify the paths of each file to the new location, but I'm not sure what that means wrt the cache for linked tracks for example), and it is possible to store in the same location, once you were careful with where you files were placed.

Thanks for the reply, its echoing what AI said, they were on my desktop when cued, so I need to add to a mem stick, re do all the cue points then make sure I name the stick on the new PC with what ever drive number it was on the original?
This doesn't seem like a professional set up having to do this and not being able to plug and play. I've been about since Atomix think its time to change. :'( only stuck about as I like the wave form showing the individual beats.

You can export to the stick from within VDJ and the cue points placed on the PC will remain.
A separate database will be created on the stick with the transferred information.

We respect your opinion, we're just telling you why it is the way it is and how work with or around it.
As @kradcliffe said, if you want plug and play, then use an external drive/USB stick - that's pretty standard too (e.g. standalones use that paradigm).
