I use my American Audio Versadeck Controller as my ceremony/backup controller, i've had it since 2012 and it served as my main right for several years before upgrading. Needless to say, it's been rock solid and other than the brief Win 11 Midi 2.0 issues earlier this year, I've had no problems. My wedding on Thursday or last week, worked fine, then both of my weddings on Friday and Saturday, it did not. Deck 1 worked as is should, Deck2 had all sorts of issues with Play, Cue Play and Cue doing weird things like launching Loops and Triggering Samples and making both tracks do weird things. Needless to say, I got thru both ceremonies trying to use one deck (or the Cue button etc.) Thought this was a mapping issue, so yesterday spent hours trying to do the mapping, which i was unable to do so. I rolled back VDJ to the previous release and that didnt solve this. These same issues occured using all 3 of my DJ laptops, so I figured it was a Versadeck Issue. Even tried to Factory Reboot, still same issues. On a forum, I noticed another Versadeck owner who uses VDJ had posted help for the EXACT SAME ISSUE, so I figured where there's smoke there's fire. I'm now thinking this may be Windows 11 related again. i did update this am to the new KB5095093 but havent had time to play around with this as I'm working and have an event this evening. I wont need to use my Versadeck tonight but I wanted to place this here to see if anyone had any suggestions or possible fixes. I'm gonna leave the other guys post so you can see how we have identical issues.
I copied this from another member as all of a sudden i'm having this problem with my American Audio Versadeck. I've had it since 2012 and its worked perfectly fine (minus that brief Win 11 Midi.2.0 issue) and I used it as my ceremony system (and back up system)
It worked perfectly fine as recently as my wedding on Thursday. My weddings both Friday and Saturday, I've had the same issues as below. I've rolled back to the previous version of VDJ and this is happening on all 3 of my DJ laptops.
Please Help.
My trusty old ADJ Versadeck Controller (which is officially supported by VDJ and has worked perfectly and seemlessly with every version I have used since 2012) is no longer working as expected. The play/pause button for deck 1 works as expected, but the play/pause button for deck 2 starts and stops both decks or if you play one deck, the play/pause button for deck 2 pauses the paying deck and plays the other deck and triggers loops and effects a as well. Weird.
I've tried going into the mapping on VDJ and that is a nightmare. Any assistance with this would be great. I'm a 30 plus year professional gigging DJ, so I would love to have a solution to this what seems like maybe a mapping or VDJ2026 issue.
Thanks
All 3 of my laptops are MSI Gaming (GT76 with an i9), (GS77) and (GE 76) both with i7's
