Hi,
I'm having a problem with PadFX.
When I activate an effect from PadFX and leave it on, it freezes.
For example, I activate Flanger from Pad 3 and change the pad mode to Hot Cues; then, when I go back to PadFX, I have to press the button twice to turn the effect off. This only happens when I change the pad mode.
It didn't used to do this; I didn't notice when it started behaving this way.
Thanks in advance for fixing it. 🫡

seems normal to me
padfx echo 0.5 0.5
on pad 1, call it, switch pages, switch back, call the pad again, = fx off
bear in mind that padfx will only turn off from an on state that exactly matches the param list you provide, and any minor dial tweak while on, would result in the double press motion you described to get off.

I've run two tests—one with my own PadFX and another with the example you gave me.
I'll post a video using your script so you can see what happens.
Maybe it's a Mac issue.

not a mac issue, it's a smart_pressed issue.
Also just you and me in this thread, why are you quoting?

I figured as much—my old Windows PC died, so I had no way to confirm it since I only use a Mac now.
Sorry for quoting—it's just a habit.
