i start my vdj and it takes forever. I have a 1.9mhz, 1 gig of ram, 300 gigs of songs, 8agp ti 2100 vid card, i think my motherboard is going though?? dont know just yet..any suggestions to speed this up?

VDJ launches to the directory that you have set as your home directory by default. Surely you don't have all 300 gigs of files trying to be displayed in that single default directory.

I have a PIV 2.4 Ghz with 512 ram laptop and it loads in around 15 secs.... I think it is due to the fact that you have all your music set as the default directory as Rick has said. Please load Vdj and report how long it takes to successfuly load and we can determine a better solution.

can i just load vdj and then click to a different directory? i didnt try it yet, just want some feedback before i do it?
