Hello VirtualDJ team,
I would like to suggest a Multiplayer Mode based on turns.
Two DJs join the same online session. Only one DJ plays live at a time and controls the master output. The other DJ can prepare in private: search tracks, set hot cues and pre-listen with headphones, without affecting the live mix.
When the turn ends (for example after 20 minutes or 5 tracks), VirtualDJ shows a countdown and the second DJ takes over with a track already prepared on the other deck, making a seamless transition with the crossfader. Then the controls lock for the first DJ.
The screen would show "NOW PLAYING: DJ 1 / DJ 2", and the whole session could be recorded as one continuous set, with markers showing who played each part.
This would allow real back-to-back sets between DJs in different locations.
