when i look trough my files it lags big time.......is there a remedy for this?

I have the same problem sometimes. I have around 6,000 files seperated in to approx. 30 folders and a lot of times the program will slow down so much it will take 1 to 2 minutes for it to change folders and search for a file (unacceptable) I don't know what to do except to shut down and restart. Maybe they could fix this bug?

Boy, I don't know if I'd call it a bug. I have 17,000 files in 26 directories, "A" through "Z". The 2 biggest directories are "B" & "S" which each have well over 1,000 files. When I go to the "B" folder, it takes 5 seconds to display the file names. This is just a fact of life. I'm running it on a laptop which is an AMD 800. Not the fastest machine in the world, but not the slowest either. I think 5 seconds to display 1300 file names is actually pretty quick. Best way to cut down that time would be to make smaller directories.
