Hey guys !!!!
Since i use the mouse alot (along with the keyboard shortcuts) I was wondering if an optical mouse is worthwhile getting. Let me know what you guys think...or if you use any.

Yes you should definetily get an optical mouse. The optical mouse never goes screwy and never has to be cleaned. Also, If you're a mobile dj, an optical mouse is very useful because it can be used on any surface without a mouse pad, so that will eliminate bringing the mousepad!

I use a little palm held finger track ball mouse. It's cooler than an optical mouse, and if you get good with it, you can move quickly between play and stop for 4 beat overlays. The optical mouse is pretty cool in that it works on any surface, but this little beauty just fits nicely in the palm of your hand, with an actual trigger that acts as a 2nd left button.
