You have a P4 HyperThreading I presume (2.4"C").
If I'm right, you can try to execute VDJ in compatibility mode for Win98. If this doesn't work better, try to disable the HT in the Bios.
Good Mix :)

Sweeeet!!
That did it.
thanks heaps.

ps you guys gotta get that "magic" beat lock thing working and all them other fancy 'automixing' tools (dont really work, or not fast enough), cos i think its faster doing a mix by ear....hehe

You're welcome :)

PS: You don't have to use all VDJ features but only these you want/need :)

Thanks for everyones help.

I have given up with Win98 and loaded XP. It now works.

how do you disable HT???
cant find any option in my bios!

Pleeeeeeease.........

pauljwestran, what brand/type mainboard do you have?
i need to know more details.

p.s:most of the bioses can be accessed by pressing DEL while your system is booting.

Hi, How do you configure vdj for 98 compatability mode?

Right click on the icon of VDJ--> property --> compatibility --> in mode of compatibility: check win98

Coyote

This problem should be gone with v1.08, and for anyone who disabled hyperthreading, i recommend to enable it and see how much faster VDJ will work (try to analyse song while playing for example)..

androidi, enabling HT 'MAY' cause audio-hickups/dropouts.
same goes for 'speedstep'.

om my intel machines i had to disable both of the features to gain clear uninterupted sound.

loading time is irrelevant since you can directly start mixing while your song is being loaded/decoded.

when i have to play a set, first i disable both features and re-enable them again after i'm finnished ;)

the mixing on my vdj isnt right it keeps jumping and locking do
do i need more drivers is my system compatible or could it be my souncard please help

Austin1, tell us what you have already tried. i assume you have tried to disable Hyperthreading and Speedstep in your BIOS?

no i havent how do i go about doing that ive only had it a few days .what do i do?

dont you mean hyperthreading!!
