Just by opening a MIDI out port and sending a MIDI clock signal with th BPM, all sorts of syncronised synth/groovebox joy could be ours for the taking....
esp using a loopback and software like Rebirth....
Then we could see some REAL creativity....
Other than that maybe a VST or even VSTi wrapper/interface....
Tho I'm not sure I'd trust the stability of some VST plug-ins/instruments....
But MIDI Clock would rule soooooo much

I'll make an effect plugin as soon as I have some spare time, unless someone does it before me.
(it's really really easy to do using the effect sdk on the support/developers page)

also midi input, that shows the input 'beats' visually in the wave display of atomix, so u can sync songs to the midi in clock
