is anyone else running windows 98se with the same problem or is it just me! and if so does anyone have a solution ?

If you have a SB live 5.1 card...Go to Audio HQ, then to advanced settings, DISABLE Dolby DIgital Sound, Also choose,
"NO EFX" then reboot your system and give it a try. THis worked for me!
