Sujet Please explain new Playlist feature in 1.08

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Can anyone explain how to activate the new playlist browsing feature in v1.08 ?

Is there updated documentation for the last 2 versions of vDJ ?

Play at least 20 songs, a song is automatically added once the disk icon changes to red.

????? Maybe I am just not understanding or I mis-stated my question. djHomeboy, thanks for the response, but I don't understand your answer.

The feature in 1.08 states:

"browse playlist as directories in the tree-view"

The Playlist browsing appears the same to me. How do I get the tree view ?

This means that playlist appears in the most left part of your browser (like directories).
In previous versions your could only see playlists with files, in the right part of your browser.

Moreover, if you click on a playlist, VDJ will display the songs included in this playlist as if this playlist was a directory that contains the playlist songs.

Merry X-Mix :)

- browse playlist as directories in the tree-view
This allows you to manage the playlists like directories

- autosave playlist on close
When you play at least 20 songs, a playlist is automatically created

after you play a set of 20 or more songs, then close virtualDJ, the next time you open it, you can click on playlist which is right under desktop in the tree view. There you will see all the playlists you have used. They are named by the date that they were played, and they are in m3u format. When you click on the m3u, it will load the playlist into your playlist view.

REMEMBER: An m3u file will refer to songs where they were, and how they were named when the m3u was created. If you have moved or re-named a file within the playlist, it will indeed still show up, but it will not load or play.
This is a pretty cool feature. I imagine I will find some good uses for it.
Thanks Dev Team!
