I would like to know if it is possible to use my cd player with atomix in any kind of way

You will use your cd player when atomixmp3 2.1 will be ready. We are waiting 2.1: this version can read cd audio :)

Are you talking about your computers CD rom, or a seperate CD player?
 
If you want to use an external CD player, just hook it into your line-in and it will be mixed with the output of Atomix... however, you'll need to do all beatmatching, etc yourself.
