Sujet: Question on soundcard

I have a 2000 Toshiba laptop, and i was just wondering what brand USB soundcard would be best to buy for that system? Thanks.

hey i am using toshiba satellite 4090xcdt and encore usb sound converter with it i have no problem and it's only 26 bucks but there are also expensive sound cards too
 
.... like the emagic EMI 2|6. Works great, perfect sound, but you can only use channels 1,2 (1 player in stereo), because atomix doesn't support ASIO or EASI drivers.
