Sujet computer started lagging recently... atomix skippin'

hi. Recently all was well with my atomixMP3 program. A REALLY GOOD DJ PROGRAM I MUST SAY! =)

but recently, I think I deleted some files or did something to my computer that made it all slow and laggy. especially on the audio side.

now whenever I play mp3s on atomix, it will skip! sigh.

I really want to rectify this audio problem... this latency... this skipping ... happens in almost all my audio programs now too.. including atomix..

the last straw is to do a reformat and install win xp.

any one has any ideas as to what is causing this problem and how do I solve it???

Try updating directx 8.1
