Because you guys are interested in DJ'ing or are a DJ I thought I would make a forum for music reviews of any style(prefrabley dance music). So myself and other DJ's can exchange opinions and give advice on what tracks will make your sets shine.

Dreamcater I don't wanna lose my way is a very good dance track which i think people will get up and dance to or if there have not heard it before there might just listen to it and after a while there should get up and dance to it.

A little corrections, and addictions :)

1) "Dreamcatcher - I Don't Wanna Lose My Way", I used that in "syfoon.com opener", amazing track

2) "Dirt Devils - The Drill", Great track from Dave Pearce's NuLife label, the Lisa Pin Up Mix will be one to keep your eyes on guys

3) Kylie Minogue Vs Rank 1 - True Love Vs Airwave (White Label), another one I used in "syfoon.com opener", AMAZING track, had it on white ages ago, big shame going to become a big chart hit :(

4) "Basstoy - Runnin'", Mark! Records finally give us this beauty, superb track from 3 years back, although the only mixes available at the mo are the Vocal and Miami Mix(es), and the Original non-vocal mix was *so* much better! Shame on you Mark!

4) "Lange feat. Skye - Drifting Away", another classic which I used in "Cold Winter Nights", superb vocals from the lovely Skye, and Lange lays down an amazing synthline that'll make any club kick into another gear!

5) "(Va)iio - Rapture", AGAIN, I've used and abused this track, in "Cold Winter Nights", Riva provides 2 mixes strangley, a international and a UK Mix, and other remixes come in the from of the Deep Dish Mix, long, synthy, deep... and Creamer & K bounce it into a house mood, superb track!

6) "Ian Van Dahl - Will I?", Those 3 Swedish girls have done it again, released on Pearce's NuLife label, with superb synthlines and great vocals. A sure fire big hit this Spring/Early Summer, and the DJ's will cane it in Ibiza this year. Remixes from Lange, who provides the biggest and best breakdown so far in 2002, and Pulsedriver, who kicks it into a fast synthy frenzy, as used in "Cold Winter Nights"

7) "Markos - Temptation", in a word, amazing! If you make the trip to the Isle of Dance (Ibiza) this year, you'll hear it everywhere, and rightly so! Just stop reading and get it!

8) "Tukan - When You Hear Silence", think vocal trance, think female vocals... Tukan has just said "p*ss off!" to that, an included an amazing male vocal into this incredible track! You'll be hard pressed to hear it mind you, as its as rare as a nun in a porn shop at the mo! Lets hope it changes!

9) "Armin van Buuren Presenting Alibi - Eternity", wicked track, even if it is a bit old. Dont bother with any other mix besides "The Thrillseekers New Horizon Mix", absolutely incredible...

10) "OceanLab - Clear Blue Water", wicked lil track from OceanLab here, sweet vocals, spinetingling breakdowns, will be HUGE if it catches on!

Honourable mentions go to;
DJ Air - Alone With Me (Tukan Mix)
Abigial - You Set Me Free (Andy & The Lamboy's Dub/Club Mix)
Club Caviar - Game Over (Both of the mixes)
Warp Brothers - Blast The Speakers
and of course, PPK - ResuRection (Space Club Mix)

Happy listening peeps :)

Mmm, Ian van Dahl isn't from Sweden, and it aren't 3 girls neither. It are 2 producers from Belgium (my country!!! ;-)), and the girls are only there in the live act. It's also very commercial music.

Trust me, Ian van Dahl is 3 grrls, from one of them European countries ;P, its why the name is so strange,

And, "Rank 1 vs Kylie Minogue - True Love vs Airwave" is being released as "Flip n' Fill - True Love Never Dies", I'm just so used to the white label and thats what we wrote on it ;)

Anyhow, back to working on a few remixes of my own :)

Latez guys,

I heard Ian van dahl was a project name and the music is made by someone in a studio who is not known comercially.
Yes the 3 girls are just vocalists and appear in videos for appeal.

regards bren

Excuse me Syfoon, but Ian van Dahl is the english name of the dutch "Jan Modaal", which means an ordinarry man. It's a Dutch studio project. If you don't believe me, I can scan you an interview with them (well, it's in dutch so you willn't understand ;-)), and send it to you by mail?

Sorry guys :)

On a lighter note, I'm about 50% through my remixing work, and after that, I'll have a new set for you guys :)

/me gets back to remixing but secretly talks in IRC
