hi
Ive been using the ejay version of automix for a while now (is that a c**p version) ive got quite good at mixing trance and house songs(i think) but i have no idea how to mix two UK garage songs. Ive tried and tries but whenever i do it even when i get them at the same pitch i ant match the beats up (manually or with the automix button. Whe i slide the crossfader it just sounds like a mush with beats all over the place!
Any ideas
Thanx Guys

Easy..
Match the snares by ear, you cant use any automixing assistance (Which you should turn off anyway when you get good ;)), and simply play with flicking the crossfader back and forth and arse about with the bass EQ
Easy stuff, shame UK garage sucks arse... go to an event and get shot... fun?!

MDA, just work out the bpm of the garage songs, then u can at least beatmatch, as long as u cue the next song up right.
