Hello, I've just bought my DJ Console, and I can't leave it.
There is several control that I don't use and I'd like to change their function:
1: 'volume' (that control the pitch) I 'd like to control the gain with it cause it is hard to change the gain by the mouse
2: what are the controls 'Pitch bend' , 'auto beat', and the mouse for?
Thank you

Pitch bend is for slowing down or pacing up a track quickly to synchronize with the other track that you want to mix into.
Auto Beat is an automated function of VDJ which automatically - really?? ;) - mixes from one track into the other.
The rest of your questions i cant really quite understand. The mouse you can use for browsing tracks on your hd or accessing menus of VDJ.
Concerning the pitch/volume slider on the console i only know that its possible to switch between these 2 functions in the VDJ menu. Dont think its possible to reprogram the slider to control the gain. As far as i know the sliders send analog signals which probably make it impossible to use it as you proposed. By the way ... why do you really need a gain slider ? Wont a volume slider be sufficient ?
