How do DJ's typically beatmatch CDs ? This is how I do it ...
Find Cue point -> Play it on the first beat of the playing track -> If the song drifts backwards -> Pitch bend up -> then pitch up 1% -> Back to cue point -> repeat till beats are matched
Is that the proper way to do it ? Is there one standard technique or does every DJ have their own way ?

basically this is it.there is no "rules" how you will beatmach.The important thing is actually succeed to do it.
tip: if you like long mixes (2-3min) then you have to follow the beatmatching more than 64 beats to be sure that its accurate:)
