Sony pcgk37
P4 3.2 ghz
1.0g RAM
80g hard drive
Problem:
After about twenty minutes of playing the smiley face of death comes up and says "Fatal error", there is an option to recover but that never works. Everything gets closed down and I have to restart, is anyone experiencing this problem? any solutions? thanks in advance

What version of VDJ are you using ?

Hi,
yeah tried to detect it but nothing came up. I am using version 1.09 and most of the tracks I mix with are 30 minutes or longer but even with shorter tracks it still crashes. thanks

Today I was playing with 1.09... on a 700mhz notebook with 128mb ram,
I have borrowed it to my friend that will probably buy it with 1.09 version.
We had no problems for 2 hours. Now he is testing at home, and i fortunately did not have any call
like "OH THAT DAMN THING CRASHED" .
Try the different settings for maxload, try timestretch, limiter...

Hey thanks, yeah I am using loop alot alot of time looping both tracks at the same time. I thought that might be the problem but with a gig of ram??

If you're using lots of loops... you could have been victim of this bug:

Also worth noting is that 1.9 has many more bugs than the latest version 3.1, 1.9 is very far from version 3.1.., time to update my friend :).
However we shouldn't have to, we should be able to get this problem solved if you can't.
