hey happy people and none happy people of dj console..im planing to buy a dj console soon and i usually mix rap/rnb and hip hop...so plz answer the following questions

1.is Dj console suitable for rap/rnb and hip hop?

2.What are the other Dj console available?What are the url for it?

3.Is it true Hercules is comming up with a better Dj console soon?

4.Are all the bugs fixed by now?(i cant send my console back live in malaysia)

5.Should i buy Dj console?Now?


sorry for the many questions..Dj console is expensive but i wanna know because im spending alot on it..its malaysia u know so outside products are expensive...but it all good..so plz answer all my questions thank u....

hi its good to see fellow hip hop ,r&b dj's
well to answer ur questions,,,,,,

1 -hercules can be used to mix hip hop but i wouldnt recommend it for hip hop

2 - there are a couple of controlers but the best for hip hop is the--- xp10---- u can use one or two ( i recommend 2 with an external mixer) but one would be good enough the url is

3- i dont know if hercules is coming up with a newer one i hope someone else could answer that

4- if u read the forums u can see what problems people are having with hercules ( nothing major except for headphone out)

5- if i were u i'd wait for the xp10 its coming out soon and its really good check out the link and u'll see the features

i heard u cant sracth using the jog dial is that true?thanks for ur respond mate..

and it does have scratching (xp10) just follow the link and read ,,,,,,,,,,,,, u'll be amazed to what it offers

it certinly beats the hercules in my book specially for hiphop r&b

and no u DONT have to buy 2 but it would make ur life much easier and im sure if u buy one u'll want another one

when will U be able to scratch with herucules DJ controller?

The headphone issue can be solved by upgrading to 1.09 and enabling 7.1 soundcards :]
