You just can't believe the difference in running 1024 over 512.
In contrast to my older system with 512 it is amazing how much better the program runs with 1024. It is like the system is on speed, everything is lightning fast. I can cue the down beat almost imediately instead of having to wait for the whole track to load. I just went back to load some music and refresh and noticed the difference.
Exceeding the minimum limits has some benefits.

yeah, i just upgraded to 1024 a couple weeks ago and not only did that solve some issues I was having, like on yours, there was a really big jump in response and performance, especially with pitch control/beatlock. i still get some minor bugs, like sound in monitor mode freezing, etc, but I can usually work around it. probably some system setting affecting that.
