Any USB device will be compatible with MAC as a External Hardisk.
As far as I know, The only working VDJ version will be for PCs. Mac isn't in the near future of VDJ.
Mac Systems are for sale now with Intel Chip Processors and MAC OS X is a unix based operation System, which means: MAC is going to run the PC hardware, MAC is going to interface with PCs more properly. Mac G4 systems are going to be obsolete in the near future.
