just adopt a standard for measuring instead the unique VDJ Db my meeterbridge, clip guard and ears never aggree on the gain it seems to set
 
I think autogain works correctly.
 
The AutoGain function from Traktor is better!!!!!
 
The only addition would be is to set a value for the "always 0dB" option. It should be "always x,ydB" where you could fill in x and y yourself (-3,0 or -4,5). The sound quality is better at -3dB than at 0dB in my opinion. This would be a very usefull addition for me.

does anyone else think auto gain works correctly?
 
I don't think it works correctly. I did ask for one temporary improvement though, to MANUALLY set the "GAIN" of each track which VDj remembers as it's own gain. That way auto gain matching wouldn't be a problem, same as BPM ;)
 
Another thing that might help:

This is especially useful if you get distracted and have to throw a track on the deck right before the mix and VDJ hasn't completely analysed the gain yet. The result is a sudden change when it resets. If gain is set to automatically move to 0 it should move gradually (like pitch reset) if the track is playing.
 
thing is you mite want it to get on with it instead of going slow, especialy if it wasnt realy palying but only being cued and you just wanted it to hurry up and sort itself out so you could cut it in bfore the oher song finnished. would eb nice to have as an option tho, amoung many many many many other things
