Scratching isn't really my 'stamp' with mixing but I've been giving it a go lately on hercules console, I don't have much to compare the Hercules scratch potential, but if I'm not mistaken it sucks for scratching, lol.
Just wanted to know if anyone can honestly say they can scratch to a high standard with the Hercules DJ Console MK1?.
I've read reports that the MK2 is much better because of larger jogs, will see when I get it.
So is the Hercules DJ Console really so bad for scratching or is it me being a scratch rookie?.

I've been told you need to use the mouse and the jog wheel at the same time,.. which makes no since to me because you need to have one hand on the crossfader. I've never had any luck making scratches in the HDJC but if Gauge can wiki wiki with a mouse only,.. I think it's possible to get some good scratch sounds out of the hercules.
