no this isn't possible, it's like taking the eggs out of a backed cake.
but you can try using some VST effects and try the "vocal +" plugin of vdj that can take a part of lyrics or beat off a song.

A simple solution to this (or at least the beat part) might be to use a keyboard shortcut for 'kill bass' i suppose...but it might not be enough.
Try it out and see how you get on with that.

If you belong to a record pool, when they send you new releases on the 'B' side there will typically be the 'instrumentals' of the song and the 'accapella' version.

There are plugins available that can do a great job of cutting the vocals or the music. These plugins are only available to full versions members.
