How do you minimize that? I am hooked up via my Maya USB soundcard.
And is there a way to mix without using both computer fader and DJ mixer for video? I have to do 2 steps unless I put the computer(virtual dj) fader in the middle, but can use the transitions.

hey , i think i can help you .
i read somewhere that if you ground your turntables to the computer screws and not the mixer then the humming should go away.
and also the only way to mix videos would be to do what you are doing by leaving the audio cross fader in the middle and using both the mixer cross fader and the video cross fader. unless you want to purchase
the NU04 mixer from eclerc hich you view right here on the vdj website. it is a midi device that will control both the audio and video cross faderon vdj. and it can also be used for regular mixing of just audion.
hope that helps
