I am not sure if anyone discussed this, but is it possible to make Virtual DJ a rewire application. This way we can run sounds through programs like abelton live. This would be good for adding loops and samples over tracks we are playing. I would love it if I could play a track, run it through abelton, while keeping the BPM, then just going off with my own live performance, then mixing into another track.
I think it would be a nice feature on the updated versions.

very interesting idea... I would run Propellerheads REASON, 'cause I've got an external controller (actually a keyboard with lots of knobs). alternativelly, once I was recording in toulouse and I saw a guy doing a live mix with Sony's ACID - maybe that would be easier to integrate, whereas you could have some tracks loaded with loads, an external mixer/drum machine, and you could mute/unmute channels.
