Is there a way to use a webcam to look out on to the crowd and then project it out on to a screen? Basically a live feed live off the webcam while the mix takes place.
Any help would be greatly appreceited.

yes, you can do that, but I'd recommend not using your machine to do it..... the resolution isn't gonna' be that good, low light will probably not show up well, and the range of focus is gonna' be screwey...you can't video mix it, so why tax your machine with another open overlay window?
look on e-bay for a security camera with composite video out, or even use a video camera, and go straight to the big screen....
I know a certain other dj software company is coming out with a vj app which will support mixing video from a video capture card with music videos....
