Sujet Anyway to have a pannel appear over the menu area?

Is there a way to have a pannel appear over the song listing menu area? I see references to different menus and it appears that they are predefined somewhere outside the xml and inside the program code. Is this true?

u can put the browser in a pannel also and give them the same group number that way only one will be up, or make a new smaller browser in the other pannel along with whatever it is u want to cover it with

Thanks Philly. I just found a pioneer skin who approached it that way. Good workaround.
