Sujet Effect Section??

Why is it not possible anymore to use more than 1 effect at the same time?????

However you cannot trigger more than one effect via keyboard. this can be done only by a skin. the behavior has been changed for vdj4, and dj-in-norway already signaled it, so we should have back the old behavior in 4.1.

So is this why when I set the effect Sonique, and then use the text effect, it cancels out the sonique effect and returns it to a video if that's what I'm playing at the moment?

Sounds like only a single video effect at a time....

Tried this with the web cam effect to. Cancels out the text or sonique effects upon activation.

You can trigger multiple Audio effects together, but you can only trigger one video effect at a time, for now anyway.

multiple video-effects at the same time is being thought about for 4.1..

And what happend when someone would love to have the 32equalizer effect on both decks enabled...
It;s seems that i turned on and when i load another track they are disabled automaticaly..so i have to hit the effect every time to enable it..
In 3.4 you can have it on....as long as you wish..

Set the key ClearEffectsOnLoad to 0 in the Windows registry to disable the automatic plugins reset

come on we have to change registry settings to get the effects working cool???that should be all possible in the VDJ setings or not??
actualy i dont anderstand the change of the effect section at all.was working superb!!!!
Why making everything more complicated.

so how can i use 2 audio effects at the same time on the same deck???may i am stupid but i cant find out???

Not possible with 4.0 via keyboard/midi. It's a bug (more info).

you CAN.... in skin! as many as you like... even 10-12 effects at the same time if your crazy ;)

The keyboard/midi shortcut way have a limitation that makes only possible with one at a time, but that will be fixed i bet ;)

The new FX engine is after all made for drop-down menus, and unlimited use...
And that you do have in skin

But needs a fix for the shortcut ...

It would be nice to be able to right click on an effect (in the effects section) and have the option "Set shortcut), press your shortcut key, click "Set" and all done. I imagine something simular will be done in 4.1.

Yes, we just spoked about that Bagpuss, it will be corrected because it can be done in 3.4. I used right click in effects section a lot, but for now you can use it on deck itself.
