Help needed… :)
I got a pretty full collection, but realized today that there is a hole…
I’m going to play at a pretty big gig tonite, and the theme is “tropical”
Looked at my collection, and I got some latin club music, and some latin groove, but not much! And what I got is a bit hard and too up-tempo…
Anyone that have any songs/playlist suggestions? Please… I’m kinda lost…
It gotta be songs that are not too “house-ish”, having a nice happy groove…
I’m thinking from 90bpm to about 120bpm, and not to hard beats…
Like “La-isla-bonita”(Madonna)-meets-“surfing usa” (beach boys)-meets-“lambada”-meets-“mambo sway” (shaft)-meets-Bob Sinclaire-meets-Kevin Lyttle-meets-Lee Cabrera-meets-The Underdog Project-meets-Dario G….. lol :)

just home from my tropical gig.. and it when very well!! amasingly well...
so, its due to give thanx to those who really really helped me out alot, giving me clues on what would fit the theme for the night...

but the one who really saved my party and made it so good that all guest loved it, and club owner was in heaven, asking me to please come and play again, is Dj Meely...!!!

I played chill-out latin at start, moving over to soca, reggae and tropical beats (this worked sooooo well, made the mood for the night, thanx to Meely), and finished off with latin house and club...
threw in some cheesy ones every now and then, to make a floor boost.... lol... (la isla bonita, macarena stuff)
all in all, a perfect night...thanx all who helped!!
