I am trying to find out some info about Numark iCDX
1 Will I still need a sound card with it? Or the you use the audio out on the iCDX
2 Can you use just one like the xp10?
3 Will you need two open usb 2.0 or can you go from iCDX to iCDX

usb ports are not a real problem just trying to find out more about the iCDX
will it play cds from VDJ or it on line out like I side I am still trying to find
out more about this new toy and the type of outputs it has.

Not sure about cd's playing through vdj via usb, but im guessing you will probably need to connect it via rca to your computer and use the bypass to play the cd (which is pretty pointless anyway cause you can just put the cd in your computer and load a track directly onto vdj and control it like normal).
It will have normal rca outputs as well as digital spdif. There might be a syncro relay port on it, like the original CDX.
Unfortunately numark has no technical details on their website on their products, so google is a good source to start with.

thanks again for the info for $700 i need some more info from Numark I like what I know about it but some more info would be good or a good picture of the back would work to

Unfortunatley, seeing as it hasnt been released yet, public pictures have been few (found 3 on google). Maybe once its released we will see more.

From what I've read so far the iCDX is the following:
DVD/CD MP3 player (Will play MP3s from CD or DVD)
Audio CD Deck
External controller
Which makes it a replacement for my Pioneer CDJ1000 right NOW.

The only problem is that you will need another sound card to work with VDJ. This is the only thing that i mist on it. It could have small sound card... Ok i will use my maya for it :)
