as a young and coming dj,i have been critisized for not cross fading when mixing my trax ,but i rather use the normal mixing styles used on mixers .now i would like to know ,am i not doing the right thing because even though i do not cross fade the mixing and my recording still sounds like the real thing .

Don't worry, I am a DJ for 13 years now and I never used crossfader, I like the faders. Crossfader is more for scratching, but some use it for mixing all music.
