Almost exclusivey to be used with music not video but it wouldn't hurt if in the future it could handle video. Perhaps with a video card upgrade. Can some of you puter experts give me an opinion please? Thanks.

Don't get media edition unless you are a more advanced user.....many issues unique to media edition.
I know I have one. PRESONUS, the soundcard maker actually has a notice to customers on the firebox/firepod webpage warning of many issues unique to media editio.........
