Hi!
I want buy a dj konzole, Hercules mk2 or Behringer BCD2000.
I have only one question as to a JOG-DIAL. I want know, how work this control wheel.
Is turning with the jogdial the same as at the real vinyl, then pure turning,
OR
is turning with the indentations, with some jaggedies?
What will do the turning with a jogdial with musictrack? Is it the same as the real vinyl, no problem for example a beat-scratching? Or else a turning with the jog move with track up longer parts? - really cd-mixing..
Thx.!
Caligula
PS: sorry for my english :-(

I have tried everything with the BCD2000. I have to say, I would like to let it work on my laptop, but it just doesn't work.
(Dell Inspiron 9400, 2GHz duo-core, 1GB DDR 667MHz, GeForce GO 7900 GS 256MB-onboard)
It doenst work with VDJ 4.1. If I config ASIO drivers, it craches, if I use a mapper, the key's not allways work, and no lets. Other programs just don't have what VDJ has, so that is no option. I bought it because it looks very prof and also it is bigger, the sliders and buttons are further apart. But I did mine back to the store, got all my money back and bought a Behringer VMX300.
With the MK2 console and that little, yet compleet mixer I have everything I need. The 2 decks are linked to 2 separate channels on the Behringer. (Only possible with the Hercules MK2).
Mixing is great now, the mapper works great with VDJ 4.1, I'm glade I have my Hercules MK2.

To be or not to be?
Hercules or BCD??
Two questions that have not yet been crystally answered.
Do you have a powerfull PC, get the BCD.
Do you have an average PC or a laptop, get the Hercules.
But before anything, buy VirtualDJ.
No question about it !!!!
