Ok been running this software for quite some time and never had this happen before. When I load a video without running to screens I get an error in the video driver. I know you are gonna say check settings. I did and it will not let me open the little window when I run video, but when my desktop is extended it will go to 2nd monitor. This is a strange one to me as I have always been able to preview videos in the little window when I am not extended. Is this a DirectX thing?? 2nd question I need answered is why is my waveform jumpy?? Here are my specs
Athlon 64 4000+
ASUS 4000= CPU
1gb Ram
ATI Radeon X1950 Pro Video Card
I am gonna try to reinstall Direct X and see if it is that. There are no IRQ sharing conflicts and I am optomized. My performance is set to Fastest. Safe mode and overclocked are unchecked. Anyone??

Please hold off on comments as I think there are driver issues. I am gonna re-install my ATI drivers. I will let you know.

try lowering your proformance tab to free up some cpu
:)
as to your seccond issue
1. got latest direct X? from windows update?
2. how large is the Gpu (graphix memory)

Well I solved the driver issue as the ATI drivers were screwed up. As for the performance, it is set to the lowest. My graphics card is the X1950 256 GDDR3. Checked Direct X and it is current.

Jumpy waveform means CPU is pretty busy.
remedies:
- Turn Mastertempo to FAST (if you use keylock)
- If thats not enough, lower performance slider.

I am going to add more memory (2 sticks of 1024 matched).
