open Hercules DJ Mixer (The alien head) =
Change normal to DJ =
You will 3 sliders = 1-2, 3-4, 5-6
Choose a channel for headphones and plug in…
Also turn the volume to max on all sliders.

basicaly with a 4.1 + soundcard
plug the headphones in one output and the master into another
then when you wish to tune to that channel
say Deck A
lightly press the headphone button for A
when ur done release
note to have the preview so that when you press it it stays on then press it again to turn off
or to use an external card to two cards you need pro

Your free version supports the use of ONE soundcard.
To prelisten that ONE soundcard needs to be a 4.1/5.1 (surround) card.
This way you will have main out on channel 1 out, and prelisten on rear out.
You can get a cheap usb surround card, and it will work great:)
