y when I load a track sometimes I have to hit the play button to make it go? How can I make it go with out me hitting play. Is it a shortcut I have to change?

is this with tcv already playing? and what tc mode are u in?
after a trial i dont thnk there is a way to just drop a track and have it auto start, what i usually do is take off the needle and drop on relative mode or if you load a track you can place your finger on the tcv and stop it for a few seconds and then give it a push ... that will start it

Yes its with the tcv & I'm in relative mode. There should be a way to have it autostart if you load a track using the mouse.

its a TCV problem on the 'TCV problems list'
if the tcv is stopped (and there are no vibrations, check the play light on the skin is not lit) when you load a song and when the song completes loading then it will usualy be live but it can be tempramental sometimes.
