<b>LoopOut v2.02</b> is now available in the effects plugins section. It has a few new features:

- new GUI (not compatible with 800x600 skins though, this is why I left the old loopout there);
- there is an option ("play song") that will restore the volume after the loopout, and keep the song playing (instead of stopping it as before);
- the song will continue from where the plugin was started once LoopOut finishes (instead of continuing farther, as before);
- it now remembers settings.

Thanks macourteau, clax, and djzero! Every time excellent plug-ins like the LoopOut v2.01 are made, we all (full version users) benefit from them. Furthermore, VDJ becomes a better program!!

Remember that you need a full (and legal) version to download these plugins.
 
Sorry to drag this post back up! This is a fantastic plug-in, but would there be any chance of making the continue point optional - either start where the effect started, or carry on playing (which the previous version did as default)? Just a polite request :o)

I suppose another simple addition (ho ho - I'm no coder!) would be a tick-box for "fade/don't fade" so you could start the effect for X beats at normal volume and, coupled with the request above, the song would carry on playing after X beats.

Sorry rodman I don't really understand your request (I don't speak english very well may be that's the problem).
 
robman: this sounds reasonable, but I have absolutely no time these days... Just please remind it to me once in a while to make sure I don't forget, and I'll work on it as soon as I can :)

Is there anyway to save your options in this plugin so when you close and open VDJ it keeps your last settings?

I always use loop out - 1 beat - 20 times

It would be nice to set this and not have to change it every time I open the program


BTW this is still my favorite plugin of all time!!!

but ya know you're right we use this one as well and for just as long. but our computers never change loop settings. might be because we're not using an external controller
