A few questions:
1. How do you synchronize playlists from iTune. When I do an import I get a new copy of a playlist that I already imported.
2. How do you delete all the playlists imported all at once? Right click on each one at a time is rediculous.

So it has been several days an no answer to my questions. I am about ready to start to ask for my money back. While your software does beat matching nicely, its ability to manage libraries and integrate with iTunes really sucks. This element is critical to being able to pull together a live set.
I use iTunes to manage my music library - it ROCKS for that. First, your product does not automatically re-synch with iTunes playlists. This sucks. What is even lamer is that when I re-import the iTunes playlists, it creates a second copy and sometimes it has the ID3 tag information and sometimes not.
Every week I am purchasing music and adding it to my library. I classify by genre and use the comments field to further tag the sub-genre and sound elements. iTunes is the preferred means to do this. After each purchase and hours of classification, I then have to manually hand edit your database XML file and remove the <VIRTUAL FOLDER> element and sub elements. Seriously? You do not provide a DELETE ALL from the right click menu from the interface, nor do you support multi-select. Seriously? This is really bad software programming.

Ask for money back?
The FORUMS are a meeting point for VDJ Users, and we help one to each other with our knowdlege (users helping users).
It's not a SUPPORT SERVICE section of the product, although sometimes it could seem this.
Try to ask the e-service if you didn't get any fast answer at FORUMS:

Would it help to let you know its being worked at, and that the music browser part of VDJ will be changed real soon ?

Well, this type of communication is crucial. All anyone had to tell me was that it is an acknowledged flaw and will be fixed in the next release. The next question would be then how long to I have to bear with this until the next release?

i also hope they integrate the smart playlists from itunes to virtualDJ, as for now it seems only the manuel playlists are put into the database of virtualdj.

Feel your pain, but as mentioned above this is more of a user to user forum and trust me we all have helped each other in one way or another. You will find this out the longer you are here and let me tell you this is one of the BEST support forums (by users) I have seen and it even gets better with the skins and all the other add ons that are made by USERS. Stick around you won't be sorry.
