When I open either skin, VDJ crashes and goes into recover mode. Why can I not use either skin?

is your monitor large enough ? what is ur screen resolution?
 
I have a 17 inch monitor and the setting are at 1024 x 768

these skins require a much higher resolution to run

try increasing ur settings

or use a different skin
