Well, my verdict is in.

I was apprehensive at first, but after one minor fix (regarding the database and admin privledges), all I can say is WOW!

if you cannot read your database in windows vista try loging in as administrator

or go to users on control pannel and raise your self to admin rights.

Or right click the program icon and assign your self admin privledges.

What issue are you having, perhaps I can assist.

Word is good here. Switched to vista biz last week, totally rocks. Everything in vista is much better. Videos are great audio is great. Can't ask for much more. Only thing i did was turn off the visual effects on the windows. No other tweeks. My vista score on my testing machine was 4.6

If you got a decent enough memory on your graphics card (256+dedicated) then you shouldn't need to turn off your visual effects.. If not go to appearance and personalization from there you can turn your visuals on and off

I probably didn't need to turn it off, its sorta habit from the days of xp skipping audio when you moved around in windows. Like I said I vista flys for me. I'm very pleased with its performance. I got the upgrade version for biz and found out you can do a clean install with it which makes it even better.

better then that, I found out I could force a lot of old xp drivers to work, even though there aren't vista drivers, ie my wireless card and my soundcard.
