hi guys, whenever i record a mix on virtual dj, the sound quality is really bad, is it because my hardware isn't good enough?
here are my specs
AMD Sempron 2800
512mb RAM
integrated sound card (realtek ac97 audio)
so how much upgrading do i have to do to get good sound quality, or do i have to change some settings?

Have similar hardware specs, and I don't experince that kind of problem. The audio files your using, what are they like? Quality, etc. VDJ records in 192kpbs / 44.100 khz / stereo, but that doesn't really matter if the source audio is in less quality, say 96kbps.

well i think most of my music is recorded in wma at 192kpbs, and when i listen to my music on windows media player it sounds fine, but when it's played in virtual dj it's poor quality

Maybe you can lower the settings in VDJ..
Settings > Performances
Try different settings 'til you find the fine that suits your computer. The better computer, the better performance settings you are able to use - and vice versa.
