Hey guys
I have a 6600gt and it's great, but I can't seem to get the connections to external sources sorted.
On my card, I have two DVI out sockets, and one 9 pin VIVO socket. Both the DVI have DVI - VGA converters on them (one for main monitor and one for secondary monitor, and the VIVO socket is used to connect to a SCART head to plug into a television (for karaoke).
I'm thinking about using videos whilst doing karaoke, but I can't work out the best way to hook up to a TV.
The TV I was using is quite an old model, and only has one scart socket. Not only that, but I now find myself with the option of hooking up to three other (linked) televisions which would be great for karaoke (and ultimately videos), but would render my old TV 'useless', so to speak. The fact that the old TV's out the window isn't a problem, but I just want to get something going, you know?
Can someone please explain to a video/karaoke newbie what all the possible connections are?
I've got various video card connections, so will try to make do with what I have, but I'm willing to spend a few quid on more gear in order to get this going.
